At Danceworks we provide dance classes in Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Hiphop, Contemporary & Musical Theatre in & around Queenstown.
We cater for all age groups from two year old toddlers through to adults. Our oldest Ballet student is 82 years old, so you see it’s never too late to start! We also offer private one on one or small group classes.
With the support of our experienced & qualified teachers along with limited class numbers this allows our students to learn in safe & nurturing environment.
Dance will not only improve your child’s fitness levels, flexibility, strength & co ordination but they will learn how to work as part of a team, make new friends, improve their self esteem & confidence & allow them to explore their own self expression.
We encourage our students growth & self expression through dance.
My 6 year old daughter has been taking classes with Danceworks for several years, both in ballet and hip hop. We have found Danceworks to be professional and encouraging in both these disciplines.
The kids look forward to their weekly classes and are showing tremendous progress in their confidence and skill. They enjoy working towards exams and the end-of-year show, which is an amazing production requiring a great deal of work from the Danceworks team.

This was the best activity ever for a hens weekend!! Louise was amazing, so fun and bubbly and got all the girls involved and was able to cater the routine to all abilities, while still ensuring we all had a great time. Louise really went above and beyond with being available on a weekend, fantastic decorations, certificates and gifts for the bride, as well as yummy cupcakes!
Everyone raved about dancing for the rest of the weekend, and the dance even made a few appearances on some bar dance floors. I truly can’t recommend Danceworks and Louise enough as a complete hens weekend activity. Thanks for the fun.
My two daughters have been attending Danceworks since we arrived in Queenstown 7 years ago, when they were just three. During this time they have developed a love of dance, and have experienced nurturing, dedicated and professional teaching across a variety of genres, including ballet, tap, jazz and contemporary. The quality of teaching has been reflected in the excellent marks they have achieved in their dance exams.

Danceworks has helped develop a love of dance, positive belief system and strong technical abilities in Georgia. She is adept at a range of dance disciplines, including Modern Jazz, Hip-Hop and Tap, thanks to the range of classes available and high standard of teaching.
Through sitting dance exams, Georgia has developed the mental and physical discipline required to do succeed within an examination environment.
